Our Patron: Saint Thomas the Apostle

Santhom School derives its name and inspiration from our patron, Saint Thomas the Apostle, a pillar of faith and a beacon of truth. Known as one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ, Saint Thomas is remembered for his profound journey of faith—from questioning and doubt to unwavering belief and dedication.
As the “Apostle of India,” Saint Thomas holds a special place in the hearts of millions. According to tradition, he brought Christianity to the shores of India in AD 52, spreading the message of Christ across the Malabar Coast. His mission in India laid the foundation for a vibrant Christian community that continues to thrive today. Saint Thomas’s life exemplifies courage, perseverance, and a deep commitment to service, even in the face of challenges.

At Santhom School, we strive to reflect the values of our patron saint—faith, integrity, and a quest for knowledge. Like Saint Thomas, we encourage our students to seek understanding, embrace learning, and stand firm in their convictions. His life inspires us to nurture a community rooted in compassion, truth, and a commitment to serve others.
